- At SIFUS, we bring years of experience with MRgFUS technology to our patients. Our team is led by PD Dr. med. Marc Gallay, a neurosurgeon with a long history in this innovative field. Dr. Gallay has been involved with MRgFUS since 2005, training under Dr. Anne Morel and Professor Jeanmonod, a pioneer in functional neurosurgery. Since 2015, he has performed MRgFUS procedures at SoniModul in Solothurn, making him one of the most experienced neurosurgeons in this area.
- Dr. Magara, with her background in neurology and psychosomatic medicine, contributes her expertise while dividing her time between private practice in Bern and SIFUS.
- Our team also includes Mr. David Moser, who worked for nearly 14 years as an MRgFUS engineer at SoniModul, and Mrs. Rossi, the CEO of SIFUS, who worked for SoniModul in Solothurn for 14 years. Together, this team has been working closely since 2015 to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- We work in collaboration with the Swiss Medical Network, Radiology VIVA in Ostermundigen, and the Privatklinik Siloah to provide MRgFUS treatments.
- In addition to his work at SIFUS, Dr. Gallay is a consultant for the University Hospital Geneva and teaches at the University of Fribourg.
